Simple chocolate chip cookies

INGREDIENTS

125 g dark chocolate chips or milk chocolate
80 g soft butter
125 g sugar
1 egg
150 g flour
½ tsp. 1 teaspoon baking powder
1 C. liquid vanilla or a sachet of vanilla sugar
1 C. milk
PREPARATION

STEP 1

Take out the butter and let it soften at room temperature or in the microwave (taking care not to melt it). Preheat the oven to 5/6 (175 ° C).

2ND STEP

In a bowl, beat the soft butter and sugar with a mixer. Add the egg and beat everything for a few minutes (for a touch of vanilla, you can add liquid vanilla or vanilla sugar). Gradually add the sifted flour and baking powder and mix until a homogeneous dough is obtained.

STEP 3

Pour the milk and mix. Then add the chocolate chips and knead in order to incorporate them well into your dough. Using two tablespoons or just your hands, form about twenty walnut-sized balls and spread them out on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Flatten each ball of dough to obtain a 1 cm thick disc using the back of a spoon. Make sure to leave space between the cookies so that they do not touch each other during baking.

STEP 4

Put in the oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes depending on whether you want your crunchy or soft cookies. Once they are nicely browned, take them out of the oven. Let cool for about fifteen minutes and enjoy your cookies with simple, still warm chocolate chips.

TIPS

The advantage with these chocolate cookies is that we can do anything. All chocolate, white chocolate, praline chocolate, peanuts ... Everything is possible. So be creative and enjoy!
