Old-fashioned apple pie recipe
A classic that is always very successful ... a "rustic" almond tart with large pieces of apples, a good homemade shortbread with almonds, and a little background of almond cream! I advise you to use Golden apples, a crunchy, sweet and sweet variety, perfect for a pie!

80 g almond powder
50 g normal sugar
100 g icing sugar

6 beautiful Golden apples

Recipe steps

Prepare the almond cream: mix the brown sugar with the eggs, add the vanilla, the almond powder and the crème fraîche
Arrange the peeled and cut apples in large quarters in the bottom of the pie, cover with the almond cream and sprinkle with flaked almonds, finally, bake for 45 min at 180 ° C
Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
